Joining SVCC as a member enables you to play in our seasonal leagues, represent the club in national events (e.g., Arena & Club National Championships), and vote for and serve in club leadership (18 and up). Included are memberships in our regional organization MoPac and the USCA and a subscription to The Curling News.

Member Information
All members are invited to join leagues, bonspiels, playdowns, and club-sponsored events. League fees are separate from Membership fees and are payable at the time of league registration.
Regular Members have full voting rights and privileges and include membership in USCA and MoPac
Junior Memberships are available to those younger than 21 years old (at time of paying dues). Full voting rights and privileges are extended to those aged 18 and over.
Reciprocal Memberships (both junior and regular) are non-voting and only open to those who are full members at USCA/MoPac-affiliated clubs.

Memberships are renewable annually in July. Billing notice will be provided via email and Membership Dues are payable in full at the time of billing.

Membership Expectations

All Members are expected to comply with the Silicon Valley Curling Club’s Bylaws in order to be a Member in Good Standing. “Good Standing” means that a Member is current in the payment of Annual Dues, plus any required fees or assessments as determined by the Silicon Valley Curling Club. Members in Good Standing must also engage in courteous and sportsmanlike conduct, including, but not limited to helping set up and take down curling ice and equipment as well as engaging in sportsmanlike conduct while curling. Members in Good Standing are also expected to volunteer for Club corporate trainings, bonspiels, and other fundraising and sporting events the Club regularly holds. So long as Annual Dues are paid within thirty (30) days of the date payable and a Member is otherwise in Good Standing, Membership shall continue. Membership may be suspended or terminated for failure to pay Annual Dues, or other fees or assessments, or for failure to abide by the Club’s Bylaws, or code of conduct and volunteerism, as described in these Expectations.
