Board of Directors

The SVCC Board of Directors consists of five members nominated and elected by the SVCC membership every January at the Annual General Meeting. Directors serve for a term of three years, staggered so that no more than two Directors are replaced in any given year. The officer roles of President, Treasurer, and Secretary are assigned annually by vote of the Board of Directors.

The Board appoints, supports, and directs committees to execute the general operations of the Club and, as such, is responsible for the overall operation decision-making. Individually, each Director is expected to attend monthly meetings of the Board, and must attend no fewer than two thirds of the annual meetings of the Board each year (usually 8 at a minimum).
